Located along the barrier reef that runs from West Caicos to Northwest Point are some of the best dive sites to be found in the Turks and Caicos. Starting at depths of 35-40 ft, this area offers a variety of topography ranging from a sloping wall, to a 2-step type wall, to a dramatic drop off. Since this area is tide dependent, these sites are not visited as often as other sites at West Caicos and Northwest Point. Less diver traffic, and the fact that this area sees some strong current, means that marine life is plentiful here. The reefs are lush, the schooling fish abundant, and always keep your eye out in the blue, as this is a GREAT area to see Spotted Eagle Rays.

A great 'channel' dive, this site has lots to offer. This is an Anchor site and the boat sits in about 35 feet of water, great shallows for the end of the dive. On the swim out to the wall, you'll pass large pinacles of healthy coral rising up from 50 feet of water. The crowning glory is the near vertical wall, where you'll often find Reef Sharks and Eaglerays passing by! |
One of the sheerest sections of wall to be found, this site is made even more dramatic by the fact that the top of the wall is at 35ft. The vertical wall is covered with Deep Water Gorgonians, and the shallows of this site are a haven for Lobsters, eels and small invertebrates. |
This dive area is located in a deep water channel between Provo and West Caicos, leading to the Caicos Banks. A great deal of nutrients pass from the banks to the reefs, sometimes reducing visibility and making this site un`diveable. However, these conditions can be the best for spotting large pelagics such as sharks, eagle and manta rays so keep your eyes fixed out in the “blue”. |

A lovely dive in the south of Sandbore Channel area - with a great vertical wall that starts in 35 feet of water. Healthy coral and sponge life abound, and particularly in the winter months, Sandbore Channel is a good area to see Spotted Eaglerays. As with all 'Channel' dive sites, this location is tidal dependent and best conditions are found close to slack high tide. |
A pretty dive site with some deep cut, coral laden canyons due to its location right outside pony channel. With good current running during tidal exchanges, the coral growth here is lush and plentiful. The top of this sheer wall is in 35ft, making it a great dive for all experience levels. |

This is one of our premium dive sites for Spotted Eagleray encounters. The reef starts at about 40 ft, and then drops down to about 80 ft, before it plateaus out a short way, and then drops off again. A nice series of short swimthroughs and coral archways, often filled with large Black Jack, make a nice starting point for this dive. The fact that this site is close to the Barrier Reef and Sandbore Channel, means that we often see Eagle rays cruising the reef here, as well as Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and Turtles. |
A lovely shallow dive, south of Gorgonian Drop Off, with typicaly 'channel like' topography - shallow top of the wall, sheer drop off, small sand patch to anchor in, and nice shallow reef to explore. As the name suggests there is a small arch located by the Anchor Patch. |
The Shallows of Sandbore Channel are great spots for conducting training dives, and are beautiful in their own right! Anchoring close to the barrier reef usually protects us from Current and allows us to explore some beautiful shallow reef. |
Diveable only during an incoming tide, this site has a wonderful mix of topography. From huge sand patches at the top of the wall, to a shallow reef with holes and hiding places for fish. This is an ideal dive site to fish watch. Schools of Atlantic spadefish, horse-eye jacks, grunts, angelfish, rock beauties, and chromis. Keep your eyes out for lobsters, channel-clinging crabs, eels, and stingrays as well. |
